Westway - Our home is in a beautiful country setting in Wiltshire.
Westway House is a large, detached house in a semi-rural location situated on the outskirts of Frome and Warminster. It is a therapeutic child-centred children's home that stands out for its exceptional dedication to the well-being and development of our young children. We are designed to provide a holistic and enriching experience for children in need of care and support. At the heart of Westway House's success is its unwavering commitment to putting children first. The home operates on the principle that each child is unique and deserving of personalised care, attention, and opportunities for growth. Our dedicated staff members are not only highly skilled professionals but also compassionate individuals who truly understand the needs and challenges faced by the children under their care. One of the key features that make Westway House exceptional is its therapeutic approach. The home employs evidence-based therapeutic techniques and programs to address the emotional, psychological, and behavioural aspects of a child's well-being. In addition to providing a nurturing and safe environment that encourages children to explore their interests, talents, and abilities. The children are given ample opportunities to engage in various recreational and educational activities that promote their physical, cognitive, and social development.
Central to Westway House is the commitment and emphasis placed on building healthy relationships and creating a sense of belonging. The children at Westway House have recently adopted their first pets; two guinea pigs called Bella and Pickles. Bella and Pickles have become invaluable members of the family and supported in creating a strong sense of belonging for the children. Creating opportunities for the children to experience companionship, unconditional love, responsibility, empathy, emotional support, and opportunities for socialisation, these furry friends have helped the children feel connected, valued, and part of a nurturing environment.
